What are we? The Florida Sport Aviation Antique & Classic Association (FSAACA) is a group of aviation enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of older airplanes and a “Just Plain Love” for sport aviation of all types. Our goals are to collect and disseminate information pertaining to Antique & Classic aircraft, to foster and aid in the restoration of these aircraft, to promote aviation safety and education, and to extend knowledge and appreciation of all sport aviation endeavors. Who Are We ? Members of FSAACA consist of many types. Commercial pilots at all levels,
including senior Airline & Transport Pilots, Military pilots, both
former and active, Private pilots and Student pilots, but also Non-pilots
and those “Just Interested.” How did We Begin ? FSAACA along with EAA Chapter 454 What do we do? Over the years we have had many special and important goals from building
the Laird Super Solution, which is now at the EAA museum in Oshkosh,
to providing money for qualified youths to get their pilots licenses.
These days our most important contribution to aviation is providing a
Fly-In every month in Florida or Georgia for the benefit of our members
and anyone else who loves the sport. We extend a hardy invitation to
any and all who would like to join us either as a member or as our guest
at one of our events. A schedule of which is available on this site. |
